Lincoln Park Mountain Bike Festival

We just got the posters and brochures in for the Lincoln Park Mountain Bike Challenge and Festival and the event looks like it's going to be sweet. The event is going to be held on Saturday July 18th from 9 to 9. There is going to be a Raffle with a Grand Prize of 1000 dollars cash and races for classes from kids to advanced all with 1st place receiving cash. There is also a Trials competition, live music, food and retail vendors and a Beer garden. All in all it looks like it's going to be a great time. You can register for it at www.LPBG.org

Continental will be getting in a new order of Bern Biking helmets within the next two weeks so get ready to be safe.

Duluth Fixed

This is a call out to all of us in duluth minnesota that ride fixed to see if anyone else is interested in maybe getting a more cohesive movement going in this hilly city. This blog or the Continental Ski and Bike facebook page are great places to get in touch with some of us. I think we need to see some photos coming out pretty soon of either bikes themselves or bikes with riders on them having fun or even better - bikes with pretty women on them. Also if you want to see the new bootleg sessions it should be on the big screen at Continental by next week.

Hello everyone, summer finally seems to be upon us and with that it is time to make your bike look better then anyone else's (at least in your eyes). So we no have in a couple new pieces to help you do that.

Summer?

So as far as the rest of the midwest it is summer but Duluth is still waiting for the perfect time to ditch spring. Hopefully it will come soon but you never know in this crazy city, but for now I've decided that it is summer and so with that this blog will now be used also for the purposes of Continental Ski and Bike - mainly the biking bit.
