Fast Crusade Alley Cat 8/01

This saturday at 5 is the first ever Fast Crusade Alley Cat. The checkpoints will be handed out 15 minutes prior to the race (bring your wallet and an ID... hint, hint).
For those of you not familiar with an alley cat - this is a race with checkpoints but no designated path to follow - find what you think is the fastest path to get the checkpoints and get back.
Single speeds and fixed gears only -- sorry.

RAGBRAI tribute Ride

A week from today on the 9th of July Continental is hosting a Ragbrai tribute ride. The ride will start at Brighton Beach and will go for 15 to 20 miles up and back along the shore and afterwards there will be a free BBQ hosted by Continental Ski and Bike. This will be a short, fun ride just like ragbrai (except shorter) so everyone is encouraged to come out and celebrate biking together.
